Tucson Art Galleries
These Tucson art galleries have much to offer and will give visitors a good idea of what to expect from the local art scene. The downtown area and 4th Avenue near the University of Arizona have a number of art galleries for the most part specializing in Southwestern and contemporary art. As new neighborhoods have sprung up closer to the Catalina Foothills, many of the galleries have moved as well. Today Skyline Drive at Campbell Avenue is the site of several popular galleries. During the first two weeks in February, gemstones, jewelry, and minerals from around the world are on display as the city hosts shows and gatherings large and small. Hotels are often sold out as much as a week before this event so if you plan on attending make your reservations well in advance. Before you run off looking at just any art gallery in Tucson, AZ, look at some of these. |
